We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Assistant Service Manager to support our Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our service department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an automotive service department and possess strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Service Manager in managing the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Help address customer inquiries and concerns, providing clear explanations of services and repairs.
- Assist in scheduling service appointments, assigning work to technicians, and monitoring progress to meet deadlines.
- Review completed repairs to ensure quality standards are met and address any discrepancies or customer concerns.
- Assist in training, coaching, and motivating the service team to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Previous experience in an automotive service department, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
- Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
