It is essential to verify the identification of patrons to confirm they meet the legal age requirement for alcohol purchases. The Server is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of service to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
- Meet certification requirements relevant to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers certifications.
- Familiarize yourself with the restaurant's layout and the roles of each position.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the menu and daily specials.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing all food and beverage needs in a warm and professional manner.
- Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset as necessary.
- Be proficient in using the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system.
- Manage cashiering duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift paperwork.
- Execute opening and closing procedures, along with side work duties as assigned.
- Keep tables and service stations well-stocked, tidy, and clean.
- Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hospitality setting.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers certification required.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly.
- Quickly evaluate and select among alternative courses of action.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
