Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at the Little Katana Restaurant. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, efficiently serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service: Greet guests with a pleasant smile, answer questions, and offer menu suggestions.
  • Serve food and beverages: Efficiently and properly perform all service standards, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, and handling payments.
  • Maintain a clean environment: Polish and clean water glasses, set tables, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
  • Communicate with the culinary team: Inform the team of meal requirements, allergies, and special requests.
  • Process payments: Present accurate checks to guests and process payments efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year serving experience: Required in a quality establishment.
  • Cash handling experience: Preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Must be able to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical demands: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
  • Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certifications: Must have TABC and Food Handler's certification upon hire.
