Dental Assistant

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the dentists during the examination and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures and be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review patient schedules and charts to ensure readiness for treatment.
• Obtain and record medical and dental histories, as well as vital signs, and communicate this information to the doctor.
• Assist dentists in the management of medical and dental emergencies.
• Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
• Maintain clinical notes for patients, documenting pertinent information in patient charts.
• Generate consult and post-operative reports to be sent to referring dentists.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistant experience, with Endodontics highly recommended.
• Knowledge of dental practice and procedures, including dental radiographs and software programs.
