About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DC Power Operations Manager to lead our service team in Milwaukee. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our service department, handling hiring and training, billing, and scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of electrical field concepts, knowledge of industry standards, and proficiency in reading technical documents. A clean driving record and ability to pass required tests and background checks are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the face of American Power Systems, representing us professionally to customers.
  • Manage our Service Department with finesse, ensuring top-notch service delivery.
  • Foster an open, positive communication culture among teams and departments.
  • Keep our service operations running smoothly, meeting customer needs without unnecessary overtime.

As a DC Power Operations Manager, you will work closely with various departments to uphold APS's high standards and safety policies. This includes maintaining vehicle fleets in top shape, monitoring service quality through regular audits, and organizing work orders efficiently.

Requirements
  • A firm grasp of electrical field concepts and relevant codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of industry standards.
  • Understanding of lead-acid batteries and their applications.
  • Proficiency in reading technical documents and excellent communication skills.
