We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Educator to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc.

About the Role

The Senior Health Educator will play a crucial role in assisting with administrative efforts and coordinating with our Public Health team to prepare and facilitate related training. Key responsibilities include developing talking points, presentations, and preparing materials, conducting trainings, and preparing reports.

Requirements
  • A master's degree with specialization in public health education or community health education in a program of study accredited by the American Public Health Association or equivalent, as required under California Law -AND- two years of public health education experience; and
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
Key Skills
  • Develop and present health education materials and information to groups and the community.
  • Ability to assist internal and external partners in understanding and complying with LACDPH Health Officer Orders.
  • Ability to use data systems and trackers to provide health program oversight.
  • Maintain accurate records/data and provides comprehensive reports to Leadership.
  • Attend in-person health education/promotion community events as needed.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
  • Ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals
  • Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish
