About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses with various basic care activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and taking vital signs.
  • Provide personal care to clients, including toileting, oral care, nail care, and catheter care.
  • Transport clients, turn bedridden patients, and report any changes in patient condition.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning rooms and changing bed linen.
  • Take and record temperature, pulse, and respiration rate, and administer medication as directed by a physician or nurse.
Requirements
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state where the aide will provide care.
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, and walking for periods of time.
