We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team in Denver, CO.

About the Company

GeoStabilization International is a leading geohazard mitigation and bridge rehabilitation firm operating throughout the United States, Canada, and Australasia. We specialize in emergency landslide repairs, rockfall mitigation, and grouting using cutting-edge design/build and design/build/warranty contracting.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play an integral role in building GeoStabilization International's world-class geohazard designs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing economical solutions and designs for difficult and challenging geohazard issues, working directly with the Engineering Team and Project Development Engineers.
  • Performing site reconnaissance and slope investigation through steep terrain, as necessary, including high rope access and rappelling.
  • Critically reviewing plans and specifications, developing project take-offs and construction estimates, and supporting proposal or bid preparation.
  • Conferencing with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations, performing field engineering requirements, including construction support and quality assurance/observation.
  • Troubleshooting operational problems that occur and adjusting engineering solutions on current and future projects as warranted.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Masters of Science Preferred) with at least 4 years of experience.
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel, and AutoCAD, as well as experience in Rocscience software suite.
  • PE required.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions that can be very physically demanding.
  • Required travel 25% of the time as needed.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, with in-office days in Westminster, CO (Tue/Wed/Thurs) and remote work available Mon/Fri. Travel to construction sites up to 25% is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $97,000 - $120,000 per year.
