Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Quality Sewing & Vacuum is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver.

This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to lift and move heavy containers, possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and have experience with warehouse inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
  • Accurately keep records of all inventory, both received and delivered
  • Observe safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo
  • Drive vehicles to delivery locations and return to the warehouse
  • Perform various tasks, including picking orders, shipping, receiving, putting away products, and cleaning

Typical Daily Routine:

Each day starts off in the warehouse at 6 am. The main goal in the morning is to pull and load all the inventory needed for the stores that are being delivered to that day. This is a team effort and everyone contributes to getting that job done. Once the trucks are loaded, those assigned that day for delivery leave to deliver the product to 2 or 3 stores depending on the run day. Delivery drivers normally return to the warehouse around noon. This position rotates between delivery and warehouse duties with a minimum of 3 days a week of typical driver duties depending upon rotation and vacation schedule.
