Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Sales Associate to join our team at Sterling Automotive Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for assisting customers and mechanics in purchasing parts and supplies, achieving sales and gross forecasts, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Sales Process: Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts and supplies.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers on parts status, both in person and over the phone, providing clear and concise information.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Estimate Review: Review body shop estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness, ensuring all pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining accurate inventory levels and notifying the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, providing price quotes, and receiving payment from retail customers or obtaining credit authorization.
  • Order Setup: Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts and supplies.
Requirements

  • Communication Skills: The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, possess strong time management skills, and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
