Job Summary

This Medical Assistant position involves providing clinical support to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for preparing patients for examination and treatment, taking vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with lab testing and phlebotomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and gathering medical history.
  • Assist physicians during minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Administer injections and medications as prescribed.
  • Collect and process lab specimens for testing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) is highly preferred.
