Clinical Nutrition Specialist Job Opportunity at Floral Long Term Care

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Floral Long Term Care. This role requires strong nutritional expertise and leadership skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procedures to review, develop, and monitor advanced nutrition practices, focusing on patient satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, nursing teams, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Conduct monthly Quality Assurance (QA) meetings to identify areas for improvement and set measurable goals.
  • Mentor and train nutrition staff, providing ongoing support and project oversight.
  • Participate in Department of Health (DOH) investigations and surveys, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field; Registered Dietitian certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or related healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of nutritional standards, regulations, and best practices.
