Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the IT department to establish new network connections to production process equipment and various process measurement devices.
  • Design, configure, and maintain Historian servers to ensure seamless data collection and analysis.
  • Establish and maintain new and existing VM's distributed throughout the facility to optimize system performance.
  • Work with Engineering and IT to establish new network connections, including cabling and setting up Wi-Fi to production equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain VM server's hardware and software, including Stratus Servers and VMware.
  • Install, configure, and manage data collection systems for production equipment, including PLC's, HMI's, and process measurement systems.
  • Manage system software licensing and support contracts to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and manage Alarm Notification Servers to provide real-time alerts and notifications.
  • Maintain and update network diagrams and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Setup and configure historian report generators and portals for end-users to access critical data.
  • Data archive management to ensure long-term data retention and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with division managers to review data and identify equipment needs and/or efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience in information systems or related field, preferred.
  • Experience with Data Analysis Software, VMware, Rockwell Historian, PLC Communications a plus.
  • Proficiency in system management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Exposure or previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
