Job Summary

Advanced Animal Care is seeking a skilled Veterinary Triage Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinic, you will play a vital role in day-to-day operations, working closely with our veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and assist with physical exams
  • Aid in animal restraint and collect specimens for lab testing
  • Run lab tests as directed by the veterinarian and invoice patient procedures
  • Fulfill prescriptions and maintain a clean pharmacy area
  • Present treatment plans to clients and maintain a clean exam room
  • Walk, feed, and medicate boarders, and check in inventory orders
Requirements
  • Availability for 2pm-2am, 4pm-4am, or 6pm-6am shifts
  • Basic animal restraint skills and excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the veterinary industry or a similar field
