Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Discover Recovery Treatment Center. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients struggling with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide optimal care
  • Accurately administer and document medication administration
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
  • Complete intake assessments and other required documentation efficiently and accurately
  • Provide medication management, patient education, and medication administration according to physician orders
  • Follow facility and regulatory agency policies and procedures
  • Document patient information, including assessment results, vitals, test results, interventions, medications, and patient responses
  • Monitor and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions
  • Maintain all required charting and paperwork requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the team and community resources to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Active WA State Registered Nursing License
  • 1+ years of medical experience as an RN
  • 1+ years of supervisory/management experience
  • Prior experience in detox/rehab/psychiatric environment (recommended)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Negative TB test results within the past year
  • Medical Clearance to work within the past year
