We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Discover Recovery Treatment Center. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients struggling with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide optimal care
- Accurately administer and document medication administration
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
- Complete intake assessments and other required documentation efficiently and accurately
- Provide medication management, patient education, and medication administration according to physician orders
- Follow facility and regulatory agency policies and procedures
- Document patient information, including assessment results, vitals, test results, interventions, medications, and patient responses
- Monitor and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Maintain all required charting and paperwork requirements
- Work collaboratively with the team and community resources to ensure seamless care
- Active WA State Registered Nursing License
- 1+ years of medical experience as an RN
- 1+ years of supervisory/management experience
- Prior experience in detox/rehab/psychiatric environment (recommended)
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Negative TB test results within the past year
- Medical Clearance to work within the past year
- Paid time off
