Assistant Director of Nursing Opportunity

Washington Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in managing nursing responsibilities and maintaining quality of care
  • Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds to ensure resident comfort and well-being
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure effective communication and compliance with regulations
  • Meet the medical needs of residents and coordinate nursing services
  • Provide 24-hour on-call support to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to promote quality care
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure a skilled and compassionate team
  • Oversee daily staffing processes to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment
Requirements:
  • Current State RN license required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings
  • 2 years of management experience preferred
  • 1 year of staff education experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
  • Flexible hours required
