We are seeking a skilled Exterior Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Little City Foundation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of our facilities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Participate in the training and development of new team members.
- Assist in the procurement of supplies and materials as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance are required.
- Must be mechanically inclined and have experience in interior building maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills is required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is required.
The Exterior Maintenance Specialist will work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
