Job Opportunity: Medical Device Assembler

iMPact Business Group is seeking a skilled Medical Device Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to meet product operating requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment.
  • Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.
  • Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product in accordance with quality system procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work-in-progress, test results, and labor.
  • Report equipment and process-related problems to area supervisor.
  • Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime, including weekend work.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a highly detailed environment with mental focus and accuracy.
  • Ability to read English and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
