**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled AP Specialist to join our team at Wonderful Orchards. As an AP Specialist, you will play a critical role in processing and entering invoices, preparing and processing checks and ACH payments, and verifying vendor accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and enter invoices on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and process checks and ACH payments for multiple companies, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ability to process and follow up on urgent items, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Warehouse departments to resolve purchase order and receiving document discrepancies, ensuring seamless operations.
- Maintain historical records by scanning invoices while processing them, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Preserve vendor relationships by responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
