Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned manager with expertise in project management and accounts payable to oversee and coordinate various projects within our organization's Enterprise Procurement and Payables team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans to streamline payables processes, enhance procurement efficiency, and optimize vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and other internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and align program strategy and goals with internal BCG business owners/stakeholders to maximize resources and investments.
  • Serve as liaison between business and finance teams by gathering and aligning business requirements for respective projects and initiatives.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and specifications for process enhancements or system implementations.
  • Help lead the implementation of accounts payable process improvements, including system upgrades, automation initiatives, and procedural changes.
  • Engage in designing strategies to achieve our supplier diversity aspirations, rallying internal and external resources, and executing against the plan of action.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business/finance/supply chain or related field (MBA or PMP certification helpful).
  • 8+ years of experience, with years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a finance, accounts payable, or procurement environment for a large, decentralized organization.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving results and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Procurement experience is a plus.
  • High integrity and ethics.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, systems (e.g., ERP systems, AP automation tools), and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive talents.
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative; ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives.
