Advanced Practice Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at the University of Texas at Arlington Health Services. As a Primary Care Specialist, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to students, including diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to students, including diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care.
- Work collaboratively with other Health Services clinical and non-clinical staff to achieve the organization's mission.
- Comply with all UT System and UTA policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Arrange referrals for patients requiring services not offered at UTA Health Services.
- Follow up on referrals and ensure timely completion of patient charts.
- Participate in peer review activities and assigned committee meetings.
- Maintain a current, unrestricted Texas nursing license and complete continuing medical education hours annually.
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Nursing-National certification in advanced practice nursing or equivalent relevant experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- At least five (5) years' experience as an advanced practice nurse.
- Experience in College health, preferably with adolescent or young adult populations.
