About the Role

USM is seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data warehouses using Azure and Snowflake platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data warehouses using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, ADF, Talend, or Matillion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data models
  • Analyze and optimize existing SSIS code for improvements and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data warehouse projects using dimensional modeling
  • Lead walkthroughs of design documents and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Participate in project management and SDLC activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience
  • 7+ years of practical experience with ETL tools and complex transformation business rules implementation
  • 3+ years of experience with SSIS, ADF, Talend, or Matillion
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting data warehouses in cloud platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience with SAP ERP as a source system
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Fivetran, or dbt
  • Ability to work with users of all levels to identify requirements and deliver timely results
