Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Nurse Case Manager to support our workers' compensation services throughout Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical management and case coordination services to injured workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the medical management of disability claims by coordinating medical care and return-to-work efforts.
  • Provide timely assistance to injured workers, including face-to-face and telephonic encounters, to facilitate recovery and return to work.
  • Maintain regular contact with stakeholders, including claims examiners, employers, and medical providers, to ensure seamless communication and case progression.
  • Document and report outcomes of interventions performed, evaluating injured workers' progress toward medical recovery and return to work.
  • Collaborate with employers to identify light-duty work accommodations and barriers to return-to-work efforts.
Requirements:
  • US citizenship with ability to pass background investigation and credit check.
  • Associate degree in nursing; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Active, unrestricted state nursing license to practice within the United States.
  • Minimum one year adult medical/surgical nursing experience and three years case management experience in the workers' compensation arena.
  • Specialized certification in occupational health, case management, or disability management, highly preferred.
  • Recent experience with the DFEC nurse intervention program, highly preferred.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
