P&C Actuary Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled P&C Actuary to join our team in New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing actuarial methodologies to support data sets and actuarial reporting dashboards for commercial lines pricing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Reserving, Pricing, IT, Analytics, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of actuarial reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models, including pricing and reserving models, to support commercial lines pricing purposes.
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations to stakeholders on actuarial matters, including data analysis and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve actuarial methodologies and reporting tools.
Requirements:
- ACAS certification or near ACAS through new FCAS with 4-10 years of P&C experience, including modeling, pricing, and/or planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
