P&C Assistant Actuary Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled P&C Assistant Actuary to join our team in New Jersey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting territorial pricing analysis, state-level indications, and profitability analysis for Homeowners lines. You will utilize R, Python, and/or SQL to drive business decisions and collaborate with Data Science, Product Management, State Filings, Underwriting, and other divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct territorial pricing analysis and state-level indications for Homeowners lines
• Develop and maintain profitability analysis models using R, Python, and/or SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes

Requirements:

• 3+ CAS exams
• 2-5 years of P&C actuarial experience
• Background in R, Python, or SQL a plus
