Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rehabilitation programs.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients with speech, language, and cognitive disorders. Your expertise will help patients regain their communication skills, improve their quality of life, and achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning
You will conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Your knowledge of speech pathology principles and practices will guide your approach, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care.
Treatment Implementation and Progress MonitoringYou will implement and manage comprehensive treatment plans, regularly reassessing patient progress, and modifying goals and interventions as needed. Your attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality care will make a significant difference in patients' lives.
Patient Education and Family SupportYou will provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on speech, language, and cognitive skills. Your empathetic approach will empower them to participate actively in the rehabilitation process, fostering a sense of control and confidence.
Documentation and CollaborationYou will maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to departmental policies and standards. Your collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will ensure seamless coordination of care, promoting efficient and effective treatment outcomes.
Requirements- Masters Degree-Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- No previous experience required
- SC SLP Licensure from the Board of SLP Examiners or SLP Compact Commission
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
