Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our Clinton, NJ office. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and reliable surveying services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Boundary Survey Analysis: Compile record data and provide sound analysis to determine accurate property line locations.
- Quality Control Review: Review reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Geospatial Computations: Provide accurate computations for the layout of subdivisions, roads, and lots, as well as buildings and utilities.
- Project Coordination: Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff to complete design, field, and other tasks on complex projects.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise assignments given to Survey Technicians and monitor the work efforts of assigned staff.
- Education: Associate degree preferred, or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, TBC (Trimble Business Center), and MicroStation.
- Surveying Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of various surveying instruments, techniques, and computations.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions.
