CADD Operator

We are seeking a skilled CADD Operator to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. The successful candidate will perform various field and desk top design functions, including site surveys, field engineering, OSP design, and CAD of aerial, underground, and buried telecommunication systems.

• Draft parcels and subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques (Civil 3D).
• Maintain average skills in the use of AutoCAD and perform drafting of portions of routine projects under direction of project surveyor.
• Read and plot legal descriptions, and perform topographic survey, ALTA survey, boundary survey, and as-built survey.
• Prepare a variety of survey products and adhere to AutoCAD standards manual.

• High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD.
• 1+ years of related experience and proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment to successfully complete a high volume of projects within established budgets and deadlines.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
