About the Role

The Judge Group is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, including OSHA.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance costs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance engineering role, with a focus on food manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, automation, and control systems.
  • Ability to read, develop, and alter schematic diagrams, equipment, and architectural drawings.
