Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Machines: Operate CNC machines to perform various operations and produce parts within tolerances.
  • Monitor Machine Operations: Monitor machine operations, adjust settings as necessary, and inspect parts to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged components. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make adjustments or repairs as needed to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Documentation and Safety: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, inspection results, and production counts. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • Detail-Oriented: Possess good time management skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, production, and inspection teams.
  • Physical Demands: Able to perform physically demanding work.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of hand and power tools as well as measuring devices. Solid mechanical knowledge.
