Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual professional to join our team as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant. As a key member of our Evidence and Intelligence for Action in Health (EIH) department, you will provide administrative support, handle a broad range of duties, and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the EIH department, including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and document handling.
- Translate and draft documents, correspondence, and presentations in both English and Spanish.
- Assist in the preparation of travel authorizations, reservations, and related requirements.
- Organize and host virtual meetings using Zoom and Teams.
- Review and proofread correspondence and other material for accuracy and clarity.
Requirements
- Fluent in speaking and writing in both English and Spanish.
- Proven experience in administrative support, including meeting preparation, budgeting, and travel coordination.
- Translation abilities and experience in supporting translation processes for documentation.
- Proficient in using current technology and software, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Word.
Working Conditions
This position is a contract position, working 5 days a week, from 8:30-5:30, with a hybrid office/telework arrangement. The physical requirements described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
