Job Title: Operations Manager

Sanmina Corporation, a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the company's overall business strategy. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the plant's Operations Team, ensuring the facility provides outstanding products and services to customers through high quality, competitive costs, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior managers to develop performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
  • Work with program managers to develop financial and budgetary plans
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement
  • Provide leadership and management to motivate, develop, and guide the organization to achieving operational goals and objectives
  • Direct operations to ensure compliance with quality, cost, delivery, and other performance standards
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and effective customer relations
  • Foster a safe and environmentally responsible facility
  • Select, train, develop, and motivate employees to maximize individual potential
  • Interact with team members to develop relationships and promote respect, open discussion, and communication
  • Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production, and engineering services policies and practices
Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering or MBA preferred
  • Experience with lean and 6-sigma
  • Minimum 8 years supervisory or management experience in electronic contract manufacturing
  • Background in reflow, wave soldering, SMT processes, and related equipment
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, strong time management skills, and analytical skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution
  • Proven track record of problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Driven, energetic, self-assured professional with high personal integrity
  • Ability to develop effective, positive interpersonal relationships
  • Proficient use of technology, including MS Office/Google Suite and Internet resources
  • Experience with safety compliance and safety management system
Physical Demands:

Work is performed in an office and manufacturing environment. Required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, bend; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; repetitive motion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects.
