Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Health Services is a key member of the nursing leadership team, responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Director of Health Services to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
  • Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure continuity of care.
  • Implement and maintain the company's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
  • Participate in facility surveys and accreditation programs.
  • Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms, reports, and evaluations.
  • Provide direct nursing care as needed, including on-call duties.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current, valid state RN license
  • Current, valid CPR certification
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, walk, and move intermittently during working hours. The ability to lift at least 50lbs is also required.
