About The Role

The Room Place is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the store, including inventory control, receiving, and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the integrity of the store inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient receiving and stocking processes.
  • Direct and manage inbound and outbound transfers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of merchandise.
  • Oversee the printing and displaying of sale signs, tags, and price accuracy, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Direct product placement in accordance with visual guidelines, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Manage office responsibilities, including cash management, working reports, and responding to action emails.
  • Order supplies, including office and cleaning materials, to maintain a well-stocked and efficient store environment.
  • Manage budgets and schedules for hourly office and warehouse staff, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of store transactions, including daily work, cash management, and working reports.
  • Ensure all merchandise is in excellent condition, reporting any damages or issues daily.
  • Manage clearance merchandise and aged product to achieve maximum revenue.
  • Manage store stops for outbound merchandise, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with strong management, delegation, and communication skills. You will possess a high standard of professionalism, be a self-starter, and innovative thinker. Advanced computer skills and the ability to learn as needed are essential. A degree in Retail Administration or equivalent work experience is required, along with a minimum of two years of retail experience.
