Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our team at BryanLGH Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Internal Medicine Clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physicians with Examinations and Procedures: Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care, including examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Coordinate Patient Flow: Ensure efficient patient flow, minimizing delays and wait times for patients and providers.
  • Collect and Document Patient Data: Gather subjective and objective data, documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly in the patient chart.
  • Communicate Effectively: Respond to patient calls, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, utilizing excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure exam rooms are clean, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Schedule Follow-up Appointments and Procedures: Coordinate follow-up appointments, procedures, and specialty appointments, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Administer Injections and Vital Signs: Administer injections, vital signs, vision, and auditory testing as delegated, demonstrating clinical competence and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an Accredited Professional Nursing Program: Possess a degree from an accredited nursing program, with a current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or an approved compact state.
  • Clinical Competency and Knowledge: Maintain clinical competency, with knowledge of nursing and clinical systems, federal and state regulations, and quality metrics.
  • Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of patient information, adhering to HIPAA and organizational policies.
