We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at HealthPRO/Heritage, a national leading provider of highly skilled speech-language pathologists and educators. As a Speech Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric students in a school setting, providing diagnostic assessments and therapeutic treatments to help students reach their maximum performance potential.
Responsibilities:- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to develop effective treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' need for services or dismissal from services
- Participate in the IEP process to develop present levels of performance, goals, and objectives
- Provide speech therapy sessions using current best practices based on prescribed services
- Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA's code of ethics
- Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential
- Current license to practice in the state of Louisiana
- Ongoing continuing education and professional development
