Job Description

This Lead Medical Technologist position will be responsible for supervising laboratory staff, conducting complex medical tests, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of laboratory procedures, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise laboratory staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct complex medical tests, analyzing results and making recommendations for further testing or treatment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory performance
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., medical technology, biology)
  • Five years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in a leadership capacity
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent
