Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients that are ill, injured, convalescent or disabled per the State of California Nursing Practice Act in the following settings at Mountains Community Hospital: Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility. On call required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical treatment and personal care to patients in accordance with the State of California Nursing Practice Act.
- Work in various settings, including Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Preferred one to two years' experience in specific nursing service.
- Current State of California Nursing license.
- Current BLS certificate.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required for certain settings.
