Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Transportation Engineer. This role will primarily focus on providing engineering solutions for drainage systems, supporting various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Senior Engineers, and technical staff to devise effective engineering solutions.
  • Conduct drainage design tasks, including hydrology, hydraulics, modeling, estimating, quantity calculations, technical documentation, and detailed engineering analyses.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software, such as ORD and Civil 3D, for design and plan production.
  • Perform site visits to assess ongoing projects and ensure design integrity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • EIT certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in horizontal structural engineering within a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, including AASHTO, KYTC, MUTCD, and ADA.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with team members.
