Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and deliver precise and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Formulate and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Establish and uphold robust internal controls to guarantee the accuracy of financial reporting and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise external audits, ensuring their timely and accurate execution.
  • Manage tax planning and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform financial analyses to facilitate strategic decision-making and pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
  • Design and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience is essential.
  • At least 5 years of comprehensive accounting experience in real estate is required.
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience is necessary.
Preferred Experience:
  • Proficiency in MRI software is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing various responsibilities.
