Position Overview

The Customer Experience PT role focuses on delivering an exceptional shopping journey by overseeing and executing effective front-end operations. This position is crucial in leading omni-channel processes and maintaining store recovery standards to uphold our Brand Promises.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
  2. Oversee adherence to front-end policies and procedures, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) for both yourself and your team.
  3. Plan and lead in-store events and classes in alignment with company programs.
  4. Manage omni-channel processes effectively.
  5. Implement and oversee shrink and safety initiatives.
  6. Train and mentor the customer experience team, participating in performance management and supporting talent development.
  7. Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as required.
  8. Engage with customers in a respectful and positive manner, promoting the organization’s vision and values.
  9. Assist customers in locating products and providing effective solutions.
  10. Participate in stock unloading and ensure compliance with truck standards.
  11. Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience

Previous retail management experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Mobility throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.

If assistance is needed to perform these functions, please consult your supervisor for reasonable accommodations.

Work Environment

This role is set in a public retail environment focused on customer care. While public areas are climate-controlled, some stock rooms may not be. Outdoor work may be required for tasks such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains specialized equipment, and work hours may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
