Job Summary

The County of Johnston is seeking a highly skilled Child Support Enforcement Agent-Interstate to join our team. As a key member of our Child Support Enforcement team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of child support orders, and enforcing court-ordered support payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide client services that result in continual support for children
  • Control, financial monitoring, and accounting for child support orders
  • Investigate cases in arrearage and determine appropriate actions
  • Enforce court-ordered support payments, including wage garnishment, liens, and tax intercept
  • Prepare cases for court, including summaries and issuance of subpoenas
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client information and case progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Paralegal, or related field
  • One year of experience in investigative, eligibility, judiciary, or legal work
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in operating a computer and learning electronic systems
