Overview

The Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join their team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. This is an excellent opportunity to build a cardiology practice with a diverse patient population in a large, busy community-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • 100% outpatient Cardiology with Cardiology fellow, medical residents, and Physician Assistant for support
  • Opportunity to build a cardiology practice with a diverse patient population
  • Opportunity to be involved in PI and QA initiatives
  • On-site lab and imaging services provided
  • Excellent primary care referral base with an established patient panel on day one
Support Staff

Medical assistants and techs (nuclear, lab, echo, radiology) will provide support to the Cardiologist. Teaching and administrative responsibilities relevant to the role will also be assigned.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 8-4 PM, with no weekend calls. On-call/additional sessional responsibilities for in-patient consults and reading EKG/ECHO are optional and considered Per-Diem and not a primary part of this ambulatory cardiologist role.

Qualifications
  • Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
