Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Genie Healthcare.

Job Summary:

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures using various imaging modalities
  • Assist cardiologists with procedures and provide support as needed
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering moderate sedation
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications that may arise
Requirements:
  • Current IEMA (Illinois state) License in Rad Technology
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) and ACLS (American Heart Assoc.) certifications
  • ARRT Registration in Radiology
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in cardiovascular technology
  • Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and the purpose and operation of equipment and supplies inherent in cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
