Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and implement patient education programs to promote health and wellness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular technology and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Current IEMA (Illinois state) License in Rad Technology.
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) and ACLS (American Heart Assoc.) certifications.
  • ARRT Registration in Radiology.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in cardiovascular technology.
  • Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and the purpose and operation of equipment and supplies inherent in cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Ability to recognize and assist in treatment of any complication arising from cardiac/vascular/EP diagnostic and interventional procedures.
