Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Certified Welding Inspector based at our Idaho Falls location. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections on the manufacturing floor, documenting all processes including cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding, and painting.
  • Perform visual inspections of welds and ensure compliance with welding procedures and qualifications.
  • Administer welder certification testing in accordance with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code, including minor destructive testing.
  • Maintain thorough inspection records and monitor welder qualification documentation.
  • Collaborate with plant staff and engineering teams to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
  • Occasionally travel as required to meet company needs.

Qualifications:
All applicants must possess the following certifications and experience:
  • AWS CWI QC1 Certification
  • CWB Level 1 Certification
  • A minimum of 5 years of welding experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Additional Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
  • Clean driving record and willingness to undergo a background check
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

Job Type: Full-time
