Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Pharmacy Technician courses at Southwest Virginia Community College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy technology and experience in teaching or training in a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Pharmacy Technician courses in a classroom environment
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Pharmacy Technician program
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or a related field
  • Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician
  • At least three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Ability to use technology to facilitate teaching and learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching or training in a related field
  • Experience with online teaching and learning
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
