Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Coach - eSports to lead our college eSports program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of all aspects of the program, including coaching, recruiting, and mentoring student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive eSports program that aligns with the college's mission and goals.
  • Recruit and manage a team of student-athletes, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure their academic and athletic success.
  • Develop and implement a competitive eSports strategy that includes game selection, team composition, and tournament participation.
  • Collaborate with the athletic department and other college stakeholders to ensure program compliance with NJCAA, MCCAC, and college rules and regulations.
  • Develop and manage the program's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders to support program growth and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in coaching or leading an eSports program at the college or high school level.
  • Proven track record of success in recruiting and managing student-athletes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with PrestoSports and other eSports management software.
  • Knowledge of NJCAA compliance matters and rules and regulations.
  • Experience in fundraising and event planning.
