About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Technician at Emerson. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools.
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic components.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including metal, plastic, and other industrial materials.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Document and record all maintenance activities, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State-approved journeyman certification in Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Repairer, or equivalent multi-skilled Mechanical/Electrical program.
  • Experience working with electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience working with industrial equipment and machinery, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with 120VAC, 480VAC 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Knowledge of general safety procedures and protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out and confined space entry.
  • Experience working with forklifts and other heavy equipment.
