Job Description

We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Internet Security Infrastructure Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale backend systems that will help us stay ahead of the curve in cybersecurity.

You will participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from definition and design to implementation and testing. You will work closely with security researchers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and security.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about cloud security, has a strong grasp of complex systems, and is experienced in designing and developing scalable backend systems. Responsibilities
  • Design and develop large-scale backend systems that meet the highest standards of quality and security
  • Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from definition and design to implementation and testing
  • Work closely with security researchers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and security
  • Mentor fellow engineering members and promote best practices such as design reviews, code reviews, secure coding, and performance tuning
  • Push engineering boundaries and come up with high-quality, simple solutions to complex engineering and product problems
Requirements
  • Solid CS fundamentals, as well as networking and operating systems knowledge
  • Extensive hands-on programming skills in Python and Golang
  • Strong grasp of designing complex systems, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with Kubernetes, public cloud platforms (GCP preferred), data processing tools (Apache Beam, BigQuery, Dataflow), and SQL/No-SQL DB technologies (MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis)
  • Experience with queuing systems (PubSub, RabbitMQ, or Kafka)
  • BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent military experience
